In honor of the 75th year of SEC Football, Sports Illustrated released its All Time SEC Team in a special, limited-edition commemorative magazine. In addition to the team, the issue also looks at the early years, features some of the greatest players in conference history, and looks back some of the SEC schools that graced the cover of the magazine.
As for their team, not surprisingly, Alabama leads the way with 7 players. Georgia placed 4 on the team, and Auburn and LSU each placed 3. Of the 12 conference schools, 10 have at least one player on the team, with only South Carolina and Mississippi State absent.
