Incredible.

The strangest part of the Notre Dame discussion is the amount of credence analysts give to his recruiting classes. How can it not be painfully obvious that his classes are highly overrated? They typically get a couple of true bluechips like Clausen along with guys who get four or five stars b/c ND takes them but would only get three if they went somewhere else. If ND were really getting such great classes, they'd already be winning. It doesn't take long for true talent to show--look how quickly Alabama and Miami have reversed recent trends with only one or two premier classes. Of course, the Tide and Canes also have much better coaches than ND, so that might be part of it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2217643058556730455.post-79167561563806682942008-11-14T20:51:00.000-08:002008-11-14T20:51:00.000-08:00Blasphemy! And they won a bowl game at some point in the 90s. All their games are on TV and slobbering idiot Lou Holtz promotes them at every turn. The Dead Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07127490446928742666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2217643058556730455.post-72663446723791536662008-11-14T13:25:00.000-08:002008-11-14T13:25:00.000-08:00Thing is, are we sure that Notre Dame can do bette...Thing is, are we sure that Notre Dame can do better at head coach? I'm thinking that's one of the reasons Urban Meyer passed on the gig. The days of top-flight recruits wanting to play in South Bend might be coming to an end.

I mean, given the choice, wouldn't you want to go somewhere where the weather is warmer and the girls are hotter?blackinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00537923754597016040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2217643058556730455.post-37948086154747043902008-11-14T10:09:00.000-08:002008-11-14T10:09:00.000-08:00I wish I could claim it as my own, but I believe i...I wish I could claim it as my own, but I believe it was a BC fan that came up with it.

If Navy can somehow pull the upset this weekend for a second year in a row, I think it's safe that Fat Charlie will be taking some serious heat. But with that ridiculous unwarranted, unmerited contract ND signed him to, there's no way he's out after this year. The Dead Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07127490446928742666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2217643058556730455.post-80096705391272031072008-11-14T09:59:00.000-08:002008-11-14T09:59:00.000-08:00That "How to Become a Notre Dame Fan" graph is the...That "How to Become a Notre Dame Fan" graph is the funniest thing I've seen in weeks.
